OUR MISSION

The mission of Pleasants County Parks and Recreation is to enrich and enhance the lives of the citizens it serves by providing conservation and sportsmanship, maintaining exceptional public parks, allowing for the development of artistic opportunities, and strengthening the community thought the promotion of healthy resources for BODY, MIND & SOUL.

Pleasants County Park and Recreation is a collection of two county parks located 23 miles northeast of Parkersburg, West Virginia, steps away from State Rt. 2.

​

The parks feature several amenities such as kayak and bike rentals, disc golf, a newly refurbished aquatic center, basketball, baseball/softball fields, tennis courts, nature trails, playgrounds, and picnic shelters.
